Just as there is a physical body, so there is another body that covers and remains with the fleshy body. This body is called the Aura. The physical body depends totally upon this aural body, which is made of light. The physical body remains healthy as long as the aural body of light is healthy. All the desires associated with life arise not from the physical body but from the body of light, from which they are transferred and make their appearance in the physical body. When a person eats bread, we see that the physical body is eating the bread. This is not true; not until the body of light has a feeling of hunger and so informs the physical body with the sensation of hunger does the person eat any bread.
